Tire Recycling At Sunset Speedway Park The Next Three Saturday Days

Banks, Oregon- Looking to get rid of some old tires but not exactly where to go? Well Sunset Speedway Park can help you out as the next three Saturdays (September 7th, 14th, and 21st) the local FFA will be accepting old/used tires for recycling. Tires can be recycled from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM on each of the dates mentioned above and will take place in the pit area.
Both tires for race cars and street cars will be accepted. To recycle a street tire is $3.00, racing tire $4.00, and $6.00 for a tire measuring thirty-three inches or larger.
The Sunset Speedway Park is located just west of the Portland metro area in Banks on the Sunset Highway. From April until October you can get your racing fix at this facility which competes weekly primarily on Saturday nights. Regular classes in action include the NW Extreme Winged Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, 4-Bee’s, NW Extreme Modifieds, and the Womens division.
