PA Speed Week Starts and Continues

The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars started nine nights of racing in ten days Friday at Williams Grove Speedway with the beginning of PA Speed Week for 2013. Greg Hodnett came away the winner on the first night at Williams Grove. Speed Week moved to Lincoln Speedway for Saturday where Alan Krimes picked up the victory. Sunday night Speed Week headed north up I-81 to Big Diamond Speedway where Texan invader Sam Hafertepe Jr took the win surrounded by threatening weather.

PA Speed Week has a night off tonight Monday July 1st but then continues with six straight races. The series continues with Grandview Speedway Tuesday July 2, Hagerstown Speedway Wednesday July 3rd, Lincoln Speedway Thursday July 4th, Williams Grove Speedway Friday July 5th, Port Royal Speedway Saturday July 6th and ends with Selinsgrove Speedway Sunday July 7th.

Sam Hafertepe Jr leads the PA Speed Week points.

Fred Rahmer continues to hold the lead in the series points over Brent Marks, and Lance Dewease.
