PA Sprints: Tragedy As We Lose Jason Leffler
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars were to have a race at Bridgeport Speedway in New Jersey Wednesday night. The show was cancelled after Jason Leffler lost his life in a heat race crash. Jason ran everything from USAC to NASCAR and was running winged sprint cars for 2013. The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars and Hoseheads Sprint Car News sends it's prayers and condolences to the family of Jason Leffler and car owner Tom Buch. Friday night Danny Dietrich was back in the win column at the Williams Grove Speedway All Star show. Saturday at Lincoln Speedway Alan Krimes took his first ever All Star victory while at Port Royal Speedway Dylan Cisney was picking up his first feature win. In the Sunday show at Susquehanna Speedway Park Chad Layton parked the family owned 5L in victory lane.
Fred Rahmer continues to hold the lead in the points over Brent Marks, Brian Montieth and Danny Dietrich now up to 4th.
