Holland concludes 2024 season with XR 604 Nationals feature start

Chase Holland traveled to Lake City, Florida’s All-Tech Raceway on the second week in December and advanced to the $100,000-to-win Saturday main event of the XR 604 Nationals.

One hundred and one Crate Late Models entered the four-day program at the half-mile speed plant, which kicked off with qualifying on Wednesday. Driving his No. 45 machine, Holland turned in the 15th-quickest time in his qualifying group.

He then finished fifth in his Thursday heat race and 16th in his B-Main, meaning he was unable to advance to the night’s 30-lap, $5,000-to-win feature.

After the second group of cars completed their preliminary action on Friday, Holland began his march to Saturday’s main event in the E-Main. He steadily transferred throughout the alphabet soup and ultimately earned the 28th starting position in the 60-lap finale. He had climbed to 22nd just before the race’s midway point and was making a pass when he was pushed into a tractor tire, ending his evening.

In 2024, Holland notched 22 wins, 50 top-five finishes and 57 top-10s.
