Thornton doubles down in Duel in the Desert prelims

Dylan Thornton hauled across the country this past week to pilot Kollin Hibdon's secondary car for the annual Duel in the Desert at the Dirt Track at Las Vegas (Las Vegas, Nev.).

With prelims set for Thursday and Friday, Thornton increased his 2024 win total to 18 with a pair of victories.

Lined up on the pole for Saturday's Duel in the Desert finale, Dylan got collected behind a lapped car after setting a commanding pace out front, bringing a disappointing end to his perfect weekend.
