Jason Feger fifth in Peach State Classic opener at Senoia Raceway
The Castrol FloRacing Night in America miniseries finale brought Jason Feger and team to Senoia (Ga.) Raceway over the weekend for the two-day Peach State Classic.
Amassing 52 Super Late Models for the fourth annual event on Friday, Feger outran Joseph Joiner in his heat race to pick up the 10-lap victory. With a $20,000 preliminary payday up for grabs in the feature, Jason clawed forward one spot in the 40-lap affair to register a fifth-place finish. He chased Ricky Thornton Jr., Bobby Pierce, Garrett Alberson, and Daulton Wilson to the checkers.
On Saturday, Jason’s runner-up heat outing positioned him on the sixth row for the $30,000-to-win Peach State Classic finale. The Bloomington, Illinois, native steered to a consistent 12th-place finish in the 75-lap affair.
Jason finished fourth in the final Castrol FloRacing Night in America point standings, earning a $7,000 payday.
