Holland takes 7th at Springfield
Chase Holland began to wind down his 2024 Modified campaign on Friday and Saturday with a visit to Springfield (Missouri) Raceway for Turkey Bowl XVIII. He came away from the Thanksgiving-themed event with a top-10 result.
The $6,064-to-win program brought 54 Modifieds to the quarter-mile oval for two days of racing. In the Friday Modified opener, Holland wheeled his West Trucking No. 45 car to first- and fifth-place finishes in his heat races.
On Saturday, Holland took seventh in his heat and rolled off from the eighth spot in the 30-lap feature. He ran as high as fourth late in the race before finishing in the seventh position.
