Trey Mills scores Top-10 finish in Peach Bowl at Senoia Raceway
On Friday afternoon, Trey Mills unloaded his Mills Concrete No. 14JR Black Diamond at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway as he joined 51 other Late Model teams for the Castrol FloRacing Night in America season finale.
Clocking in fourth-quickest in his qualifying group, Trey grabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race and started 13th in the main event. Mills made up five spots in the 40 lapper despite rough track conditions and landed inside the Top-10 in eighth.
The following evening, Mills transferred to the $30,000-to-win finale in dramatic fashion as he made a last lap pass for the final transfer spot in his heat race. Rolling off 15th in the 60-lap main event, Trey finished 18th.
