Austin Horton finds victory lane during Peach State Classic at Senoia Raceway
Austin Horton kicked off Peach State Classic weekend on Friday night by joining Castrol FloRacing Night in America at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway for their $20,000-to-win opener.
With over 50 Late Models in the pit area, Horton raced his way into the main event with a runner-up outing in his heat race before he retired early from the 40-lap feature. Austin won a B-Main to make Saturday's $30,000-to-win finale and recorded a 24th-place DNF.
For Thursday's makeup portion of the event, Austin competed in the Limited Late Model division on Sunday afternoon where he would sneak by Zach Leonhardi for the lead and take home the checkered flag in the 25-lap feature. He was joined by Marty Lunsford and Jamie Maurice on the podium.
