Jackson Hise wraps up Rookie of the Year campaign with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series

Peach State Classic at Senoia Raceway Up Next

OCALA, Fla. (11/04/24) – Jackson Hise entered his first year on tour with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series with one clear objective, and on Saturday night at I-75 Raceway, the 17-year-old racer achieved that goal.

The driver of the Triple Crown Trailers / Quality Services Roofing / Fitz Factory Inc. No. 388 Black Diamond Chassis Super Late Model clinched the ATC Bolts & Fasteners Rookie of the Year chase with a successful doubleheader weekend at the 3/8-mile Tennessee oval.

Hise earned a $5,000 payday for the first-year honors.

“I think in my first Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series interview I said my goal was to be the Rookie of the Year and here we are,” Hise said. “Obviously, you’re always going to have ups-and-downs, but I had a great time on tour and we learned a lot. Can’t thank the series enough for putting these races on and all the tracks we have been to. It’s been an awesome season”

Hise’s doubleheader weekend with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at I-75 Raceway kicked off with a strong run in Friday’s preliminary. The Florida youngster secured the MD3 Hard Charger award after driving from the 12th row and finishing 11th in the 50-lap Championship Weekend opener.

As the field bolstered to 33 entries on Saturday evening, Jackson secured his spot in the $20,000-to-win season finale with a consolation victory. He ultimately finished 17th in the 50-lap affair.

The weekend proved pivotal for Hise, allowing him to fulfill his ambitions and secure the 2024 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series Rookie of the Year title.

Hise is slated to return to action in two weeks for the fourth annual Peach State Classic at Senoia Raceway. The Castrol FloRacing Night in America doubleheader kicks off on Friday with a preliminary feature paying $20,0000 to the winner, followed by Saturday's $30,000-to-win finale.
