Troutman scores Top-10 finish in Jackson 100 at Brownstown Speedway

Closing in on the final weekend with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Drake Troutman checked into Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway for the Jackson 100 after the finale at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Fla.) was cancelled.

With 38 Late Models on the grounds, Troutman finished 12th in the weekend opener on Friday before charging to a Top-10 finish in the $50,000-to-win Jackson 100 on Saturday. Drake made up four spots to finish eighth.

Troutman is still leading the Rookie of the Year standings headed into the tour's final weekend.
