Pair of Top-5's in Treek Strong Creek Classic at 141 Speedway

Dylan Thornton ventured north to Wisconsin over the weekend for the two-day Treek Strong Creek Classic at 141 Speedway (Maribel, Wis.).

Drawing 52 IMCA Modifieds for the 15th annual event, Thornton backed up a third-to-first heat showing with a fifth-place finish in Friday’s opener.

For another $1,000-to-win program on Saturday, Dylan advanced into the weekend finale with a convincing heat race victory. Starting on the pole, Thornton surrendered the top spot late in the 20-lapper to place second. He joined race-winner Tim Ward and Todd Felix Dart on the podium.
