Cade Dillard picks up $10,000 All-Star payday at Heart O'Texas Speedway
Collects $12,000 in Winnings
ROBELINE, La. (09/23/24) – Cade Dillard’s stellar 2024 season continued this past week with a pair of MOD WAR 100 preliminary victories on Wednesday and Thursday at Heart O’ Texas Speedway aboard his S&S Fishing & Rental Inc. / Johnsville Company No. 97 Joel’s Auto Sales / Krohn Farms / CDR Race Car Modified.
Dillard backed up a $10,000 All-Star Race triumph on Wednesday night with a $2,000 preliminary payday on Thursday.
His bid for the $50,000 paycheck in Saturday’s finale was cut short by motor issues.
“I am bummed we weren’t able to compete for the big check on Saturday, but it’s awesome to see all of these CDR Racecars with speed,” Dillard said. “We have a lot of awesome people that help out my team and I can’t explain how grateful I am of them. Looking forward to a World of Outlaws coming to my area this weekend.”
With his Late Model sitting idle, Cade Dillard loaded up his CDR Racecars Modified and headed to Heart O'Texas Speedway (Waco, Texas) to kick off the four-day MOD WAR 100 with Wednesday’s All-Star Race.
Joining a stacked field of 86 cars, Dillard laid down the fastest time in his 21-car group and second-quick overall. Starting Wednesday’s All-Star Race on the second row outside, Cade outdueled Jason Hughes in the closing laps to secure the $10,000 payday.
With the MOD WAR 100 officially kicking off on Thursday, Dillard won the seventh Modified showdown before going third-to-first in the $2,000-to-win preliminary feature.
The 25-lap triumph marked his 11th win of the season and second in as many nights.
After turning in a second-place finish in Friday’s preliminary, Dillard suffered motor issues in Saturday’s $50,000 finale that ended his bid for the massive payday on lap 23.

Dillard now shifts his focus back to his Late Model as the World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series invades his region for a pair of events in Louisiana and Texas.
Friday’s Bayou Classic at Boothill Speedway is followed by the Texas Torpedo 50 at Rocket Raceway Park. Both events offer a $15,000 payday to the winner.
