Zarin zooms to runner-up finish at Marion Center Raceway
Logan Zarin returned to the driver’s seat of his NAPA Racing No. 1Z Late Model on Friday evening for the Ted Siri Memorial at Outlaw Speedway (Dundee, N.Y.).
Drawing 25 Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series (ULMS) entries, Zarin followed up the seventh-fastest qualifying effort with a third-place finish in his heat. With a $7,500 payday up for grabs in the 40-lap feature, Logan steered to a ninth-place finish.
With Saturday’s ULMS event at Hummingbird Speedway ousted by Mother Nature, Logan headed to Marion Center (PA) Speedway where he nearly pulled off the win. After driving from eighth to the front in the feature, Zarin led several laps before ultimately finishing in second.
