Erik Jones Lead Entry List for Love's Travel Stop 150

Officials from the UARA have released the highly anticipated entry list for the inaugural Love's Travel Stop 150 taking place this Wednesday, September 11th at the Owosso Speedway. It is the second major Super Late Model race to take place at the historic Ovid, Michigan oval.

The biggest names to stick out on the initial entry list are Erik Jones of Byron, Michigan.

Jones has long ties to the Owosso Speedway, beginning his full-sized racing career at the Big O. Picking up a feature win in what is now the Street Stock division at age 13 before moving up to the late model ranks. Jones won the inaugural Big O Classic in 2011 for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour at the Owosso Speedway as well. He has since gone on to claim the 2015 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series title, 9 wins in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, and 3 wins in the NASCAR Cup Series including two victories in the oldest Crown Jewel in NASCAR the Southern 500.

Evan Shotko is another name on the list fans are familiar with, running in the Michigan 200 earlier in the season. He's also ran several JEGS tour races at Owosso, in addition to a win in the 2022 Battle at Berlin on the UARA tour.

Defending JEGS Tour Champion Chase Burda of Lapeer, Michigan has also filed an entry. 13th Annual Ron Hauser Memorial winner in the Outlaw Super Late Model ranks Kyle Crump of Brighton, Michigan is on the list in the Tim Curry owned FLF House Car.

Current JEGS Tour points leader and former Hot Shoe 100 winner at Owosso Blake Rowe has also filed an entry. As of Monday morning 19 total drivers have entered from all over the US.

Box office will open on race day at Noon, the program will begin at 6:00PM with an autograph session with the Love's Travel Stops 150 to follow.
