Saturday at Weedsport Cancelled, Attention Now Turned to Penn Can-Woodhull Doubleheader

WEEDSPORT, N.Y. – Mother Nature continues to dominate the CRSA Sprints season.
Weedsport Speedway and CRSA officials have canceled night one of Cavalcade Cup Weekend due to weather. The night was supposed to feature the third round of the I-90 Pit Stop Challenge.
Lingering showers from late Friday night are scheduled to continue mid-afternoon, not giving Weedsport Speedway officials enough time to prepare the track for racing festivities.
The event will not be made up for the rest of the season, but talks between Mike Emhof and Jimmy Phelps are already in progress before 2025.
“The Future Stars of Sprint Cars” now prepare for the first doubleheader weekend Friday at Penn Can Speedway for the Joe’s Garage Southern Tier Series and Woodhull Raceway Saturday to determine the Dandy Triple Play champion.
Action Friday night can be seen on Race Report TV and Dirt Track Digest TV.
