Top-10's with World of Outlaws at Atomic Speedway
Brandon Sheppard brought the Longhorn Factory Team No. B5 Late Model to Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) on Wednesday afternoon for the fourth round of the Castrol FloRacing Night in America miniseries.
Lined up on the third row for the $20,000-to-win opener, Sheppard surrendered three spots in the 50-lap affair to finish eighth.
With the World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series on Friday at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio), Brandon managed to finish fourth in his heat after suffering a flat while running out front. With a $10,000 preliminary payday up for grabs in the feature, Sheppard advanced forward 10 positions to end the night on a solid note with a sixth-place finish.
Sheppard’s weekend concluded with a seventh-place outing in the $15,000-to-win Fireball 50 finale after an eventful 50 laps. The New Berlin, Ill., driver limped to seventh after sustaining heavy damage early.
Sheppard remains leading the latest World of Outlaws point standings.
