11th-place finish with Castrol Flo Racing Series at Lernerville
Gregg Satterlee returned to the driver’s seat of his Satterlee Motorsports No. 22 Late Model on Wednesday afternoon for the Castrol FloRacing Night in America event at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.).
Drawing a massive field of 49 Super Late Models, Satterlee followed up a fifth-place heat finish with a fourth-to-second run in his B-Main. Making gains again in the feature, Gregg advanced through the field 10 spots in the 50-lap affair to register an 11th-place finish.
After trailer issues led to a late arrival to Port Royal (PA) Speedway on Friday for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series opener, Satterlee scratched from his B-Main after missing time trials and placing ninth in his heat.
On Saturday, Gregg followed up the 12th-fastest time in his 25-car group with a fifth-place finish in his heat. Needing a second-place finish or better in his B-Main to qualify for $50,000-to-win Rumble by the River finale, Satterlee’s sixth-to-fourth outing ended his weekend.
