Feger notches WoO top 10's at Highland and Maquoketa
Coming off a strong weekend with the MARS Late Model Championship Series, Jason Feger joined the World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series on Wednesday for the Beat the Heat 40 at Highland (IL) Speedway.
With 33 Late Models entered, Feger edged into the $10,000-to-win opener with a fourth-place heat finish. Charging from the seventh row, Jason climbed five positions to register a ninth-place finish.
After Thursday’s stop at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.) fell to inclement weather, Jason traveled to Maquoketa (IA) Speedway on Friday for the two-day Hawkeye 100. Despite Friday’s program ending with a fourth-place finish in his B-Main, Feger was able to cap off his weekend with a top-10 run on Saturday.
Racing into the $20,000-to-win Hawkeye 100 finale on Saturday evening with a consolation victory, Feger went on to improve seven positions in the 100-lap affair to finish 10th.
