Wissota Street Stock Tour Doubleheader & Wissota Late Model Special Recap

The Jamestown Speedway was back in action on Friday, August 9th and Saturday, August 10th for the Big Wheels Weekend with the Dirt Race Central Wissota Street Stock Tour on both nights and the Wissota Late Model on Saturday night. Thank you to our presenting sponsor for the weekend TOGSTAD C.A.R.E. Fund as they provide gas and restaurant gift cards to any cancer patient at the JRMC Cancer Center. Special thanks to the Late Model Sponsors - Ben Mickelson with All Day Trucking, Paul Mueller with P&B Transportation and Blaine Doppler with Fischer Contracting.

It was overall a very busy, but great weekend! The track was fast and provided lots of exciting racing throughout the weekend. The new clay is getting worked into the surface as the track prep crew did a great job providing 3 to even 4 wide racing throughout the weekend. The Wissota Late Model feature to conclude Saturday night was awesome as the drivers were running next to the wall on the bottom to all of the way on the top of the track. There were so many side-by-side battles for the lead in several heats and features that it was an awesome sight to see and it was just a great weekend to be at the track as the weather was beautiful.

Overall, we had 98 cars in the pits to do battle on Friday and 167 cars in the pits to do battle on Saturday Night. Results are below:
