Tim Ward parks in Victory Lane at Boone Speedway
Gearing up for a busy month of August, Tim Ward returned to action over the weekend at a pair of Iowa tracks.
On Friday at Marshalltown (IA) Speedway, Ward charged from 13th-to-5th in the opener after recording a seventh-place finish in his heat. He chased Tom Berry Jr., Dylan Thornton, Tripp Gaylord, and Cody Laney to the checkers in the 20-lap feature.
For the Elmquist Towing Night on Saturday at Boone (IA) Speedway, Tim backed up a fifth-place heat showing with an impressive seventh-to-first run in the 20-lap A-Main. He overtook Jimmy Gustin with a third-to-first move on lap 10 and paced the final 10 circuits to claim his 12th win of the 2024 campaign.
