Pair of fifth-place finishes at Farmer City and Dubuque
Spencer Diercks got his three-race weekend started on Friday with a trip to Farmer City (IL) Raceway to compete in his Diamond Builders No. 29 Super Late Model.
Lined up on the third row for the $1,500-to-win opener via a third-place heat run, Diercks rolled to a consistent fifth-place finish. He chased McKay Wenger, Daniel Adam, Rich Bell, and Donny Walden to the checkers in the 25-lapper.
Following a sixth-place finish in the Modified ranks on Saturday at Independence Motor (IA) Speedway, Spencer capped his weekend off with another Top-5 outing on Sunday at Dubuque Fairgrounds (IA) Speedway. He backed up a sixth-to-second heat showing with a fifth-place result in the 20-lap feature.
