WORLD STOCK CAR FESTIVAL DIVISIONS ANNOUNCED
Eight Divisions of Racing Make Up Busy Labor Day Weekend Menu on Historic Highbanks
WINCHESTER, IN (August 6) – After lengthy conversations with sanctioning groups and local race tracks, officials from Winchester Speedway have released initial information for the upcoming World Stock Car Festival which will be contested over Labor Day weekend; Friday through Sunday, August 31 through September 1.
Each day will feature multiple divisions of racing action, with the Crown Vic, Thunder Roadster and Mt. Lawn/Anderson Speedways ‘local’ Modifieds competing on Friday night. Saturday’s menu will consist of the Vores Compact Touring Series, a return of the Crown Vics and the CRA Street Stocks, while Sunday will highlight the ASA/CRA Super Late Models, Midwest Modified tour and CRA Late Model Sportsmen.
For the Vores Compact Touring Series, Midwest Modified tour and CRA Street Stocks it will also be the title-determining race for the tri-track King of the Highbanks series. Legs 1 and 2 were staged at Bristol Motor Speedway and Salem Speedway earlier this year.
