McKay Wenger adds ninth win of 2024 at Farmer City

McKay Wenger returned to the driver's seat of the Curless Motorsports No. 99 Late Model on Friday evening at Farmer City (IL) Raceway for the Super Late Model portion of the What up Dog 40.

Following a runner-up heat showing, McKay went third-to-first on lap 18 of the feature and paced the final eight circuits to secure his ninth win of the season and the $1,500 winner's payday. He finished 0.932 seconds ahead of early pacesetter Daniel Adam with Rich Bell rounding out the podium.

At Fairbury (IL) Speedway on Saturday for the $2,500-to-win FALS Cup event, Wenger shot out to the front by lap 12 in the A-Main but a brake failure late in the 25-lapper relegated him to second at the checkers.
