Tim Ward records two-win weekend, celebrates 100th career victory

Tim Ward picked up a monumental win over the weekend as he soared to Victory Lane for the 100th time of his career.

The weekend kicked off on Friday with a visit to Marshalltown (IA) Speedway to pilot his Toby K's Hideaway No. 4TW Modified. Starting the feature in fifth via a fourth-to-second heat showing, Tim stormed into the lead by the third circuit and never looked back, running away with his ninth win of the season and 100th of his young career.

Back in action on Sunday at Clay County Fair Speedway (Spencer, Iowa), Ward went back-to-back in the feature to secure his second win in as many nights.

For the Hunting with Heroes Salute to Veterans Tour on Wednesday at Clay County, Ward followed up a ninth-to-third heat race run with a runner-up finish in the 25-lap feature.
