Busy week with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series; 10th in night one of Silver Dollar Nationals

Carson Ferguson alongside his Paylor Motorsports team embarked on a lengthy week with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, starting off with a pair of $10,000-to-win events at Eagle (Neb.) Raceway and Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa).

Winning a B-Main on Monday, Carson raced to a 14th-place finish before falling out of Tuesday's race and finishing 21st.

After a day off on Wednesday, Ferguson returned to the driver's seat for the first night of the Silver Dollar Nationals presented by MyRacePass at Huset's Speedway (Brandon, S.D.) on Thursday evening.

Carson finished 10th and 12th respectively in the first two nights of the event before Saturday's $53,000-to-win finale was on tap. In the 80 lapper, Ferguson pulled off early after breaking a rear shock.

Carson is currently 18th in the series point standings.
