Ward finishes second in Dakota Classic Modified Tour point standings

The Dakota Classic Modified Tour continued for Tim Ward on Monday with a trip to Estevan Motor (Estevan, Sask.) Speedway for the third round of the six-race tour.

Lined up on the third row for the feature after going seventh-to-first in his heat, Ward shuffled two spots to finish seventh.

On Tuesday at Williston Basin (N.D.) Speedway, Tim climbed two positions in the 30-lap feature to finish sixth.

After turning in a fifth-place finish on Wednesday at Southwest Speedway (Dickinson, N.D.), Ward capped of the Dakota Classic Modified Tour with a third-place finish in the finale on Thursday evening at Dacotah Speedway (Mandan, N.D.). Starting in third via the redraw, Tim rolled to a consistent third-place finish, joining Tom Berry Jr. and Ethan Braaksma on the podium.

Tim finished second in the final Dakota Classic Modified Tour point standings.
