Ross Robinson invades Ohio for Freedom 60 at Muskingum

Following Friday’s rain out at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio), Ross Robinson kicked off his Fourth of July weekend with Saturday’s Freedom 60 at Muskingum County Speedway (Zanesville, Ohio).

Joining 35 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Robinson squeezed into the $20,000-to-win A-Main with a fourth-place finish in his heat. Pinned on the eighth row, Ross faded four positons in the 60-lap affair to finish 22nd.

In preparation for a Midwestern swing, Ross stopped at Lincoln Speedway (Lincoln, Ill.) on Monday to compete with Castrol FloRacing Night in America miniseries. Gunning for the $20,000 top prize in the feature, Robinson muscled forward one spot to come in 13th.
