Satterlee goes back-to-back with Nathan Lauer Memorial triumph at Marion Center

Prepping for WoO Tripleheader in Pennsylvania and Ohio

INDIANA, Pa. (07/09/24) – Gregg Satterlee rolled to back-to-back wins on Saturday evening with the $5,000 victory in fourth annual Nathan Laurer Memorial at Marion Center Raceway aboard his Satterlee Motorsports No. 22 Keyser Manufacturing / Classic Ink / XR1 Rocket Chassis / Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model.

It didn’t take long for Satterlee to take command of the lead after starting in sixth as he drove to the front on the third circuit en route to his sixth win of the season.

“This thing has been on a rail lately,” Satterlee said. “First and foremost, I have to thank all my sponsors that make this all possible and my family for their support. We have been on a good run lately but being able to enjoy it with my family and friends is the best part.”

Gregg Satterlee returned to the driver’s seat of his Satterlee Motorsports No. 22 Late Model on Saturday as Marion Center Raceway (Marion Center, Pa.) hosted the fourth annual Nathan Lauer Memorial.

Following the second-fastest lap amongst a field of 30 Super Late Models, Satterlee raced into the main event with a runner-up heat showing. Charging from the sixth-starting spot in the feature, Gregg wheeled to the front by the fourth circuit and ran off with the $5,000 victory. He notched his sixth win of the season ahead of Alex Ferree, Jon Lee, Ken Schaltenbrand, and Andrew Wylie.

Satterlee will return to action this Thursday as he kicks off a three-race swing with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series.

The rescheduled Billy Winn Classic at Bedford (Pa.) Speedway is set for Thursday before heading to Hartford, Ohio’s Sharon Speedway on Friday. Friday night’s preliminary feature paying $10,000 to the winner sets the stage for Saturday’s $20,000-to-win Late Model Showdown finale.
