Consistent third week on Hell Tour; runner-up in Herald & Review 100 at Macon Speedway
In attendance for another week of Hell Tour competition, the Big Frog Motorsports team followed the DIRTcar Summer Nationals to Springfield (Mo.) Raceway on Tuesday afternoon.
With 29 Late Models signed in for the week three opener, Clem started eighth in the $5,000-to-win feature and made up three spots to record a Top-5 finish.
Wednesday's event at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) was rained out.
On Thursday at Macon (Ill.) Speedway for the Herald and Review 100, Tyler was victorious in his heat race and started on the front-row of the 100 lapper. Leading 71 laps, Clem was leading the field before a late-race incident put him to the tail. Storming through the field, Tyler rallied to finish runner-up to Jason Feger.
Scoring two more Top-10 finishes at Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway and Highland (Ill.) Speedway, Clem wrapped up week three with a fourth-place finish at Red Hill Raceway (Sumner, Ill.) on Sunday.
Clem finished third in the weekly points chase.
