Derek Groomer scores another runner-up finish at Circle City Raceway

On Friday afternoon, Derek Groomer returned to competition at Circle City Raceway (Indianapolis, Ind.) for a weekly event.

Among 19 UMP Modifieds signed in, Groomer picked up a heat race victory and ran runner-up to Brayden Watson in the 25-lap feature.

Racing in the Super Stock division at Paragon (Ind.) Speedway on Saturday, Groomer started on the pole for the 20-lap main event and brought back a third-place outing.
