WHAT TO WATCH FOR: The Rebels Take on Lincoln Co Raceway and the 2-Day Sandhills Shootout Summer Nationals

6/26/2024 North Platte, Nebraska (www.urssracing.com) - The United Rebel Sprint Series presented by RacinDirt.Com hits the road again this weekend with a double header at Lincoln Co Raceway in North Platte, Nebraska. It all kicks off a two-day show at the 3/8 mile track in North Platte, Nebraska.

Coming into the 10th race of the season, all eyes are on the top two in the current National Tour standings. With Jeremy Huish claiming 4 wins this season, Steven Richardson is still within striking distance heading into a busy month of racing. With only a 8 point margin between the top two in the standings, other drivers are looking to make big moves these coming weeks as well.

Ty Williams, who has grabbed two wins already this season, might have an opportunity to make headways towards the top of the current points battle. Another driver who has been staying in the mix is Taylor Velasquez. Winning at SaltCity Racing earlier this season prooving that Velasquez is a contender each week.

This weekend will mark the 10th race ran at the Lincoln Co Raceway in North Platte, Nebraska. Mike Woodruff won the first ever URSS sanctioned race at the facility back on September 20th, 2008. Since then, the series has seen six different winners at the track including names like…
