Logan Zarin pulls double duty in Firecracker 100 weekend

Logan Zarin returned to action over the weekend as he was pulling double in the Super and Crate Late Model ranks at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) for the Firecracker 100.

With prelims set for Thursday and Friday for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) portion, Zarin backed up a 16th-place finish Thursday’s prelim with at 13th-place outing in his preliminary on Friday.

In a field of 54 RUSH Crate Late Model Series entries for the Bill Emig Memorial, Logan raced into $20,000-to-win A-Main with a runner-up heat finish on Friday. He rolled to a 14th-place finish in the 50-lapper on Saturday.

For the LOLMDS sanctioned program, Zarin’s runner-up consolation finish secured his spot into the Firecracker 100 finale. With a $50,000 top prize up for grabs, Logan climbed two positions to finish 20th.
