Bruening eighth in Billy Todd Classic at Ponderosa with World of Outlaws
Kicking off a long road trip with the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series, Tyler Bruening was one of 24 Late Models at Thunderhill Raceway (Summertown, Tenn.) on Thursday afternoon.
On night one of three on the weekend, Bruening finished fourth in his heat before losing two spots in the $10,000-to-win feature to finish 13th.
At Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) on Friday, Tyler started seventh in the Billy Todd Classic and recorded a Top-10 with an eighth-place finish.
With a weekend-high 30 entries at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway on Saturday, Bruening picked up the final transfer spot in his heat race before recording an 18th-place finish in the 50-lap feature.
Bruening is currently sixth in the series point standings.
