For Immediate Release
Our first announcement is that we are bringing back the fireworks once again this year at CMS for another exciting full display of colors and explosions after the final checkered flag of the night on Saturday, July 6th during the Tom Wilson Memorial event. As always, onlookers can expect a sizeable full fireworks display.
The POWRi Super Stocks have been added to the race schedule for Saturday, August 17. Originally scheduled to be off, the class has produced some fantastic racing regardless of the car count. National and track points will be awarded to participating drivers.
For the season-ending Hog Roast Nationals on Saturday, September 14, POWRi B-Mods have now been added to the schedule. The talent-deep field of B-Mods will join the headliner Super Stocks, along with guest classes POWRi Late Models and Show-Me Vintage Racers for an outstanding night of competition. Fans and drivers will have the opportunity to upgrade their ticket or pit pass for $5 for a hog roast meat plate and two sides during the post-race Hog Roast event party.
Central Missouri Speedway wishes to thank all the drivers, crew personnel, and race fans for their continued dedication and commitment to the CMS race nights, events, and programs. We know you have many places to choose from to fulfill your racing fix, and we are grateful when you make your way to the CMS grounds!
