Fifth-place finish in Clash at the Mag opener
Stormy Scott was one of 49 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) entries amassed at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Friday afternoon for the Clash at the Mag.
Following the fifth-fastest qualifying effort in his group, Scott raced into the opener with a second-place finish in his heat. With a $5,000 payday up for grabs in the feature, Stormy advanced through the field five spots to register a fifth-place finish. He trailed Spencer Hughes, Ashton Winger, Payton Freeman, and Chad Thrash to the checkers.
His bid for the $12,000-to-win Clash at the Mag finale on Saturday drew to an early close with a sixth-place outing in his B-Main.
