Bernheisel lands top-10 in Appalachian Mountain Speedweek finale at BAPS

Bryan Bernheisel returned on the road on Tuesday to compete in the fourth round of the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek (AMS) at Path Valley Speedway (Spring Run, Pa.).

After a third-place dash finish positioned him on the third row for the opener, Bernheisel hit an infield tire early that ended his night.

Rallying from a mid-race flat in Thursday’s feature at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pa.), Bryan rolled to a 12th-place finish in the 35-lapp affair.

Following Friday’s rain out at Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.), Bernheisel stormed into Saturday’s $5,000-to-win A-Main at Lincoln Speedway (Abbottstown, Pa.) with an impressive seventh-to-first run in his consolation race. Pinned on the 10th row for the A-Main, Bryan climbed to a 17th-place finish.

Bryan’s Appalachian Mountain Speedweek concluded on Sunday with a consistent seventh-place finish in the miniseries finale at BAPS Motor Speedway (York Haven, Pa.).

Bryan finished eighth in the final Appalachian Mountain Speedweek point standings.
