Double duty in Clash at the Mag with Comp Cams Super Dirt Series
With a quick turnaround from his Eldora road trip, Oakley Johns was one of 49 Comp Cams Super Late Models checked into Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) for the first night of the Clash at the Mag.
Winning his B-Main on Friday, Johns started 19th in the $4,000-to-win opener and made up seven positions to finish 12th.
Transferring to Saturday' $12,000-to-win finale through his heat race, Oakley started on the fifth-row but was an early retiree in the 50 lapper.
Oakley also competed in the CRUSA Street Stock division and recorded a pair of Top-10 finishes with a fourth-place outing on Friday and eighth-place finish on Saturday.
