Will Roland scores Top-5 finish on Hell Tour at Tri-City Speedway
Making a trip up to the Midwest, Will Roland joined the DIRTcar Summer Nationals at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) on Friday afternoon to kick off his Hell Tour experience.
In his first ever visit to the facility, Roland laid down the second-fastest lap in his group and picked up the victory in his heat race. Rolling off from the second-row in the $10,000-to-win main event, Will rounded out the Top-5 with a fifth-place outing.
Trying to keep his momentum going at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway on Saturday, Will was unable to find the same speed and missed out on the A-Main after a ninth-place finish in his last chance showdown.
Sunday's event at Sycamore Speedway (Maple Park, Ill.) was also rained out after a late shower washed out the racetrack.
