Matt Gilbertson adds a trio of third-place finishes over long weekend

Matt just completed a stretch of 4 WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series events over the weekend and showed great speed all weekend long.

Thursday, at the KRA Speedway in Willmar, MN, Matt qualified third, ran second in his heat race and then raced from 7th up to finish 3rd in the night's 40-lap feature.

Friday, at the Fiesta City Speedway in Montevideo, MN, he again qualified third, won his heat race and ran third in the feature for the second night in a row after battling for the lead all race long.

Saturday, back at Fiesta City, a 4th place qualifying effort lead to a heat race win and his third straight third place feature finish on the weekend.

Sunday, at the Casino Speedway in Watertown, SD, he was the night's overall quick qualifier, ran third in his heat race and then cut a tire in the feature, ending his night early, but winning the hard luck award.

Overall, a great weekend on tour.
