Pair of podiums for Chase Holland on eastern swing
In a weekend that saw him compete at three brand new tracks, Chase Holland scored a pair of podium finishes aboard his Industrial Dock & Door Company No. 45 Modified.
Kicking off his eastern swing on Friday at Limaland Motorsports Park (Lima, Ohio), Holland backed up a convincing eight-lap heat race victory with a runner-up showing in the feature. He chased Brennan Sherman to the checkers with Todd Sherman rounding out the podium.
On Saturday afternoon at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, W. Va.), Chase took command of the lead early in the feature but was docked a row after officials deemed he jumped a restart. He steered to a third-place finish when the checkers flew, chasing KC Burdette and Doug Carson across the line.
Holland’s weekend concluded with a stop to Eriez Speedway (Erie, Pa.) on Sunday where he fought back to finish 13th in the feature. After an unfamiliar invert pinned him on the third row for the A-Main, Chase rebounded from an early tangle that sentenced him to the tail to finish 13th.
