Podium outing with Mid-East Super Late Model Series at Halifax County

Benji Hicks traveled to Halifax County Motor Speedway (Littleton, N.C.) on Saturday afternoon to compete in the fourth event of the Mid-East Super Late Model Series season.

Qualifying eighth-fastest out of 19 drivers, Hicks earned a third-row starting position after a runner-up performance in his heat race. Taking the green flag in the $10,000-to-win feature, Benji moved onto the podium in third. He trailed Ben Watkins and Christian Thomas while Michael Rouse and Jordan Koehler completed the Top-5.
