Top-10 outing in Southern Showcase opener; 11th in Finale at Swainsboro Raceway
Embarking on a month long road trip, Jackson Hise and his team made their first stop at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series for the two-day Southern Showcase.
Kicking off the event on Friday, Hise locked himself into the $5,000-to-win opener with the fifth-quickest qualifying lap in his group. Rolling off ninth in the 30-lap shootout, Jackson recorded his first Top-10 outing with the series in 10th.
Trying to keep his momentum going into Saturday's $20,000-to-win finale, Jackson charged forward three spots in his heat race before leading flag-to-flag in his last chance qualifier to earn his spot in the 50-lap main event. Starting towards the back, Hise slowly made his way to the front and landed just outside the Top-10 in 11th.
Hise extended his Rookie of the Year points lead and moved into the Top-10 in the overall HTFSDS point standings.

The team now looks to their first-ever visit to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the 30th Dirt Late Model Dream.
