Willard is part of MARS action at Kankakee County
With the weekend’s Lucas Oil MLRA events rained out in Missouri, Brennon Willard instead traveled to Kankakee, Illinois, to race with the MARS Late Model Championship Series on Friday.
Twenty-eight Super Late Models were on the property at the quarter-mile Kankakee County Speedway for the Richard Craven Memorial. Willard drove his 1800Nametape.com No. 3 machine to an eighth-place result in his heat race and a seventh-place finish in the B-Main.
As a result, his night came to a close before the 40-lap, $5,012-to-win feature.
