Eighth-place outing in final stop of World of Outlaws swing through Ohio and Pennsylvania
Opening up a busy weekend with the series on Thursday night, Tristan Chamberlain joined 39 World of Outlaw Case Late Models at Raceway 7 (Conneaut, Ohio) for the first event of the weekend.
Clocking in eighth-fastest, Chamberlain grabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race and started the $10,000-to-win A-Main from 15th. After 40-laps, Tristan recorded an 18th-place finish.
Friday's $15,000-to-win Billy Winn Classic at Bedford (Pa.) Speedway was rained out.
With a weekend-high car count of 54 Late Models at Marion Center (Pa.) Speedway on Saturday, Tristan found himself in a last chance showdown where he would barely miss out on the feature with a third-place finish.
Finding his best success at Path Valley Speedway Park (Spring Run, Pa.) on Sunday, Chamberlain ran third in his heat race and earned a starting spot on the sixth-row. Climbing as high as sixth in the $10,000-to-win feature, Tristan landed inside the Top-10 in eighth.
Chamberlain is currently 16th in the World of Outlaws point standings.
