Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway

Canceled for May 18th

Heavy overnight rains and saturated grounds have forced Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (PPMS) officials to cancel the Action Event scheduled for Saturday, May 18th.

The Choice for Change event is rapidly approaching! On May 25th, our All Ways Safe Flagging and Traffic Control Young Gun competitors will take center spotlight as they race for their selected charitable cause. The winning driver will donate proceeds to their selected organization and celebrate with that organization in Victory Lane. They will be joined by the RUSH Sprint Cars, who will attempt their first visit to PPMS of the 2024 season. These two divisions will be joined by the Rohrich Parts Center / Chevrolet Performance RUSH Late Models, Pittsburgh Truck Center Penn Ohio Pro Stocks, Fuel Required Hobby Stocks, and Crawford Auto Repair Open Four Cylinders will make for a great night of racing at 'Dirt's Monster Half Mile!

We cap off the month of May on a THURDAY night for one night only! Falconi's Moon Township Automotive brings you night two of Schaeffer's Specialized Lubricants Western PA Speedweek presented by J.S. Bova Excavating on Thursday, May 30th. Winged 410 Sprint Car Teams from this area and other regions will make their stop at the speedweek's fastest speedway. 'Complete Chaos' AJ Flick will look to make it back to back speedweek victories, but drivers such as Michael Bauer, Carl Bowser, and "The Steel City Outlaw" Tim Shaffer are a short list of the drivers who will look to put a stop to 'the Chaos'. They'll be joined by the UEMS Racing Series as the UMP sanctioned E-Mods make their first appearance at the speedway in five seasons. Additionally, the show-stealing Fuel Required Hobby Stocks will join to make it a three division knockout of a show.
