Timms scores sixth-place finish with Xtreme Outlaw Series at Humboldt

A pair of Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series events over the weekend brought Ryan Timms and company to Humboldt Speedway (Humboldt, Kan.) on Friday for the seventh stop of the tour.

Aboard the Keith Kunz Motorsports No. 67 Midget, Timms’ third-place outing in his heat race secured his spot into the opener. After the invert placed him on the pole, Ryan rolled to a sixth-place finish in the 25-lap affair.

On Saturday at 81 Speedway (Park City, Kan.), Ryan followed up the second-fastest qualifying lap in his group with a runner-up finish in his heat. Rolling off on the pole for the A-Main, Timms suffered a flat left-rear tire on lap 19 while leading that dropped him into the infield hot pit. He joined the field from the tail and railed to finish ninth.

After Mother Nature won on Sunday at Huset’s Speedway (Brandon, S.D.), Timms race to a 13th-place finish with the High Limit Sprint Car Series on Monday at Kokomo Speedway (Kokomo, Ind.).
