MLRA Action Takes McCowan to Adams County
Dillon McCowan entered a single event over the weekend with a Sunday evening trip to Adams County Speedway (Quincy, Ill.) for a $5,000-to-win Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) event.
Thirty entries took to the oval, and via a fourth-place finish in his heat race, McCowan transferred to the main event.
Starting 13th on the grid for the Cinco De May 40-lapper, McCowan went on to register a 15th-place finish.
Dillon sits seventh in the latest series standings.
