Trey Mills caught up in massive pileup at Ultimate Motorsports Park with HTFSDS
With the series making its first visit to the Carolinas, Trey Mills was one of 37 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series Late Models at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) on Friday afternoon.
Being unfamiliar with the track, Trey was unable to transfer through his B-Main and took a provisional for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Starting towards the back, Mills was caught up in a major accident on the frontstretch that effectively ended his night. Trey limped his car around the track a few more times before pulling in and recording a 20th-place finish.
Saturday's $20,000-to-win Buddy Crook Memorial at Lancaster (S.C.) Motor Speedway was cancelled due to overnight rain showers.
Mills is currently sixth in the HTFSDS point standings.
