Joseph Joiner charges to ninth in King of the Mountain at SMS
Coming off his dominant victory in the Southbound Throwdown at All-Tech Raceway, Joseph Joiner followed the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) over the weekend for Saturday night’s King of the Mountain.
Forced into a B-Main after missing a transfer spot by one car in his heat, Joiner raced into the $15,000-to-win main event with a runner-up showing. Starting the feature in 19th, Joseph wheeled through the field 10 positions in the 50-lapper to end the night with a solid ninth-place finish.
Joiner is currently third in the latest Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series point standings.
